Gianluca has professional background in power system modelling, with focus on markets and adequacy topics.
Before joining Ember in 2025, he worked in the sustainability consulting unit of a major European utility and for the system development section of the pan-European electricity TSO organization. He holds a BSc and a MSc in Energy Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
When not on the clock, he’s probably practicing any type of sport outdoors (kitesurfing is his latest discovery), playing his ukulele or trying to increase his disappointing chess ELO.
