The webinar was chaired by A K Saxena, Senior Director at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and features the report authors Neshwin Rodrigues (Ember) and Nayeem Khan (TERI) who explained how battery cost declines can help India’s power sector push through different stages of phasing down coal power.

The report presentation was followed by a panel discussion session which featured Ammi Ruhama Toppo (Central Electricity Authority), Samir Chandra Saxena (Grid Controller of India Limited), Abhishek Ranjan (EY-Parthenon), Jyoti Gulia (JMK Research), and Aditya Lolla (Ember).
